Fees

All of our standard consultations run for 30 minutes. Extended consultation times are available (please make it known at the time of booking if you would like a longer appointment).

 

ENHANCED PRIMARY CARE PLAN (EPC)

Initial/follow up consultations  Bulk billed- 30 minutes (only for Pension/Health Care Card holders)

Initial/follow up consultations $65- 30 minutes (If you do not have Pension/Health care card)*.

*If you do not hold a pension/health care card, you will be charged $65 on the day of your consultation and the Medicare benefit of $52.95 will be paid into your nominated bank account via our online system. Please be aware, it is not our responsibility if Medicare do not pay you a rebate for reasons outside of our control (for example; you have already overused your visits, issue with care plan).

Please bring your up to date EPC plan and current Medicare card on the day of your consultation.

Extended consultations will attract private fee's below.

 

DVA GOLD CARD

If you hold a DVA Gold Card you will be bulk billed for each consultation.

Please bring an up to date referral from your Doctor and your Gold Card on the day of your consultation. 

 

NDIS 

We are a Registered NDIS Provider and are now accepting referrals. Please contact us to find out more.

 

PRIVATE PATIENTS

Initial consultations  $100 (Pensioner/Health Care Card holders $80)- 30 minutes

Follow up consultations $70- 30 minutes

Extended initial consultations $150 (Pensioner/Health Care Card holders $120)- 45 minutes

Extended initial consultations $200 (Pensioner/Health Care Card holders $120)- 60 minutes

A referral from your Doctor/Specialist is not necessary for Private Patients, but it can be helpful in assisting our dietitians in your consultation. In addition, if you have any recent blood test results please bring these along too.

We accept cash, EFTPOS, Visa or MasterCard on the day of your consultation.

If you have Private Health Cover with extras– you may be eligible for a rebate. Rebates vary between health funds (contact your health fund to find out your rebate). We do not currently have a HICAPS service as our terminal is not fixed, but we will provide you with a receipt so you can make your claim.

 

MEAL PLANS**

As part of your consultation, we are happy to provide you with a simple meal plan based on the information we gather during our consultation with you.

However, if you would like a more detailed plan, see additional fee below;

7 day meal plan- $40

We charge extra for these plans, as they take time for the practioner to put together. To find out more about these plans please contact us.

**Please note these plans are only available for existing patients, we do not create plans for patients we have not yet seen in consultations.

 

HOME VISITS

Home visits are available– contact us to find out if you are eligible. Additional fees may apply.

 

SUPERMARKET TOURS

Supermarket Tours run for 1 hour $25 per participant (includes a comprehensive booklet to take home)

 

CANCELLATION FEE

Please be aware if do not provide us with at least 24 hours notice to change or cancel your appointment, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $40. 

At EP Dietetics, we understand that unexpected events can happen and you may not be able to make your appointment. We ask that you give at least  24 hours notice as this allows us enough time to adjust our own schedule and hopefully offer that timeslot to other patients who may be on our waiting list.
